Company History

1943. The “glass shop” was founded on the Zhongzheng Road (used to called Bandien street) in Lukang Town with approximately 132 square meters (or 1423 sq ft) of space. Manual silver-plating manufacture for mirrors was the main technique applied, whereas the sheet glass came from recycling old window glasses.
1968. Became the dealer of “Taiwan glass company,” and started to prepare a new factory at Jinmen lane in the Lugang Town, which would have approximately 3305 square meters (or 0.82 acres) to accommodate the coming raw glass sheet business. Additional capital was also raised to establish “Xing-Rong mirror Ltd,” which was specifically for the glass trading and manual silver plating mirror works.
1979. Introduced vacuum plating equipment from Japan, which greatly transformed the traditional silver plating technique, and solved the pollution issue for waste water emissions.
1990. Started the first phase of the construction for the Hamburg factory located at the Fangyuan Town, which has approximately 3993 square meters (or 0.99 acres) floor space.
1994. Introduced the second set of Swiss BYSTRONIC slicer and the second set of Italian CHIATTI four-side grinder, which both enhanced the production speed and quality.
Adopted a new internal management system developed by “Chinese Management Association,” which had started the research based on the commission from “Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Administration, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan.”
1995. Won the “Excellent Factory Model Award of 1995,” based on the nomination and election by “Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Administration, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan” and “Chinese Management Association.”
2000. Passed the ISO 9002: 1994 quality control system certification, and obtained the BSI certificate from the British Standards Institution.Passed the IKEA 4 SIP certification.
2007. Passed the IKEA Q MUST certification.Won the honor of “Taiwan’s Excellent Brand" award, awarded by the “Ministry of Economic Affairs – Bureau of Foreign Trade” in March.

 

Passed the IKEA I WAY certification.

Introduced the OHSAS 18001: 1999 occupational health and safety management system, passed the certification, and obtained the BSI certificate from the British Standards Institution.

2008. Passed the IKEA Q-WAY certification in July.Introduced the new edition of the OHSAS 18001: 2007 occupational health and safety management system, and passed the certification.
2010. Passed the ISO 9001: 2008 quality control system certification in March.Passed the IKEA I WAY certification in July.
